Harry Souttar continues to face an uncertain Leicester City future amid links to West Ham United.

The Hammers have endured a torrid summer transfer window after suffering relegation from the Premier League last season.

Mateus Fernandes has been sold to Tottenham Hotspur in an £85million deal, while Crysencio Summerville moved to Al-Hilal in a deal that could be worth £65m.

Souttar endured a nightmare time with injuries before fighting back to fitness last season.

He ruptured his Achilles during a loan spell with Sheffield United in the 2024-25 campaign, then required knee surgery in a separate issue.

Upon returning to the squad last season, then Leicester interim boss Gary Rowett described Souttar as "quite incredible".

Leicester reportedly want a £10million fee for West Ham-linked Souttar, who is also drawing interest again from Sheffield United.

Asked directly about Souttar's future by the Leicester Mercury, Martin said: "There's been a couple of offers, but no discussions, and the answer has been no.

"People will only leave when it's right for us and it's right for them, both parties are happy with how it looks.

"I wouldn't usually comment on people staying or going, but we have an opposition manager in Chris (Wilder), who I really like, that keeps talking about one of our players, but right now there's literally nothing to talk about.

"He played brilliantly today [against Coventry], he'll be involved next week, as it stands, and I'm really enjoying working with him."

Souttar is not the only centre-back being linked to West Ham, who are in need of reinforcement in defence.

Axel Disasi was a popular member of the squad during his loan spell from Chelsea last season, and a return remains on the cards.

It has been reported that West Ham have agreed terms in principle with Chelsea for Disasi, but he wants to see if interest from the Premier League is serious first.

The Hammers are hopeful of securing a return, but will need to show patience to get a deal concluded.
