West Ham want to sign Sasa Kalajdzic this summer – report
West Ham want to sign 6ft7′ striker Sasa Kalajdzic from Stuttgart this summer, and the player has already said his goodbyes according to Kicker.
The Hammers were linked with a move for the Austrian last summer [Daily Mail] but a shoulder injury towards the end of the window meant he was forced to stay put in the Bundesliga.
But according to German outlet Kicker, the London club’s interest has ‘never subsided’ and his asking price of around €20m (£16.5m) is expected to ‘fall by a lot’ due to his wish to leave.

Kalajdzic’s current contract is due to expire in 2023 and there is no wish on his behalf to re-sign, and he has already started to say his goodbyes at the club according to the report.
There is no release clause in his current deal but with the threat of leaving for free the following season looming large, Stuttgart would be open to a sale.
Weird one
Kalajdzic is a 6ft 7′ striker who at 24-years-old has had just one big season in his career so far, when he bagged 17 goals in 36 appearances last year.
He has suffered with some injury problems this year and managed just two goals so far, but Moyes has reportedly seen enough to maintain his interest and bring him to the London Stadium.

West Ham are desperate to bring in attacking firepower to help Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen in attack and a cut-price deal in the summer could be appealing so as to not cut into the budget too much.
He would provide an entirely new option upfront with his size, but he is also relatively mobile and a good finisher with both feet too. He lacks pace so would certainly be used as a target man, but could be paired with Antonio also.
With reported interest from clubs such as Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Roma too it won’t be an easy deal to conclude. But the man who has been compared to Erling Haaland would be a good signing for the Hammers if they can do it.
