West Ham United yet to make bid for Armando Broja – Sky Sports journalist
West Ham are yet to make an official bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer, according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge.
The Hammers have made the Albanian international their number one target this summer, as David Moyes looks to bolster his attacking options following a seventh placed finish in the Premier League in the 2021/22 season.
Reports last week [July 4, Daily Mail] stated that the Irons had already made contact with the Blues for a deal, but according to Bridge when answering a fan question on the Sky Sports website there is yet to be an official bid made.

Broja is said to be rated at between £25m-30m [Di Marzio, June 20] and was left off Chelsea’s pre-season tour to the United States by manager Thomas Tuchel.
The 20-year-old wants to leave the club if he isn’t going to get first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge, with West Ham his preferred option according to Ora News on July 5th.
Get a move on
It now seems quite clear that this Broja deal is doable, so the club need to start moving quickly to get it done as soon as possible.
The player will need a full pre-season with the team to become embedded into the ideas of Moyes as well as get to know his teammates and form a relationship.

However if Chelsea aren’t willing to play ball soon, then they should also consider moving on to other targets too as they simply can’t wait forever.
The Premier League season is less than a month away from starting and the club’s biggest problem is yet to be addressed, their forward line.
The least the club can do is put a bid on the table to make Chelsea consider it and test the water with what is needed, as it will only bring the conclusion of this transfer closer to an end one way or another.
