West Ham United: ‘Unmissable’ offer on cards to seal Edoardo Bove transfer
West Ham and Bournemouth want to sign Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove, although it would take an “unmissable” offer for the Italian outfit to sell, according to Tuttomercato.
The Italian news outlet reported on 26 February that both Premier League clubs have been studying the possibility of a move to sign the 21-year-old in the summer.
It was also said that Roma have no intention of letting the midfielder leave the club, but both West Ham and Bournemouth could tempt them with a high transfer bid.
West Ham transfer news emerges at the London Stadium
With plenty of uncertainty surrounding the Hammers as we approach the end of the season, with the futures of both David Moyes and Tim Steidten up in the air, it appears the focus remains on the task at hand.
The future of Steidten is especially notable, and it seems he is likely to remain in East London, with this signing very much the type he would be spearheading rather than Moyes with the club’s long-term future in mind.
At just 21 years old, Bove has made 23 Serie A appearances so far this season, having made his debut for the Capital club in the league in the 2020/21 season.
Having played at the top level for so long despite his tender age, Bove would bring plenty of experience to the London Stadium, as well as having plenty of room to develop and grow as a player.

The focus on younger, more long-term signings, with potential profit in mind, is what Steidten was brought to the London Stadium to do – and this would be another example of his influence.
