Fabrizio Romano shares Serhou Guirassy update amid West Ham Untied, Manchester United interest
Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy will remain available for $17.5million (£13.85m) in the summer amid interest from West Ham, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert shared via his Daily Briefing column on Wednesday (7 February) that West Ham, Manchester United and AC Milan were each eyeing up Guirassy in January.
Romano added that, while those respective clubs’ interest in the 27-year-old may change, his bargain release clause will still remain in his contract come the end of the season.
Frustrating transfer business for West Ham
Guirassy would be a great signing for any of the three clubs mentioned, having scored 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season.
Available for just £13.85m, it is pretty staggering that no team has yet to make a move for the prolific striker.
The Irons were linked with various attackers in the January window without getting any deals over the line.
That was a hugely frustrating development for supporters, especially as Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma were allowed to leave.

Just how strong the club’s interest in Guirassy was remains uncertain, but if he was there for the taking, why on earth wasn’t a deal tabled?
A new centre-forward who can bag 15-plus goals is a priority in the summer, even if that is easier said than done.
Guirassy could be exactly that player, so United must ensure they are well positioned to see off the competition for his signature.
