West Ham United join two-way Premier League transfer battle for Bobby Wales
West Ham have joined the race to sign Scotland Under-19 “sensation” Bobby Wales from Kilmarnock, according to FootballTransfers.
The online source reported [21 April] that the Hammers and Burnley have both expressed an interest in the young striker, who is currently out on loan with Alloa Athletic.
It is understood that multiple Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Wales, but the aforementioned duo have shown the most interest so far.
The 19-year-old began the season with Alloa Athletic, scoring three times in 11 matches before extending his stay with the Scottish League One side, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances since January.

Any football fans in Scotland will have already heard the young forward’s name, and now his name is creeping into the Premier League.
David Moyes has recently been bringing through more youth into the senior team at the London Stadium, and he will be keen to add Wales to that.
The striker has impressed a lot this season in the football league in Scotland and the Hammers should look at taking a risk on such a prodigious talent ahead of the 2024/25 season.
After the exits of Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals, Moyes has been left short when it comes to attacking reinforcements in games.
Despite Divin Mubama regularly taking a spot on the first-team bench this season, the 19-year-old has yet to be handed a Premier League start this season and could be loaned out next season.

This would leave a gap on the bench for Wales to take advantage of if he were to move to the Premier League this summer.
Though Burnley are also involved, West Ham’s Premier League status and regular appearances in European competitions could be the defining factor in joining the London Stadium this summer.
In other West Ham news, a Crystal Palace duo have been ruled out for the season.
