West Ham United: David Moyes on alert as Jarne Steuckers transfer news emerges
West Ham scouts have been impressed by Sint-Truiden winger Jarne Steuckers as Tim Steidten could now test the Belgian side with a bid for his services, according to Give Me Sport.
The sports news outlet reported on 18 April that David Moyes has been alerted to the performances of the 22-year-old who has similarities to Jarrod Bowen.
Steuckers has seven goals and seven assists so far this season and has caught the eye of officials at the London Stadium who have shortlisted him as a possible target for the summer.
David Moyes on alert as West Ham transfer news emerges
Comparisons to Bowen will likely get fans at the London Stadium excited as has reportedly happened with Moyes, as the left-footed winger has shown his ability to cut in from the right-hand side with the ability to open up the opposition defence.
The performances of Bowen, alongside Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta, have been the bright spark of this season at West Ham, exciting fans even when the style of play seems to have drained the mood in East London.
If Steuckers can live up to the performances of that trio, he will quickly get the fans on his side and could prove to be a real coup for the Hammers and Steidten as they continue to scout Europe for their recruitment.

At 22 years old he may be earlier than the usual signings for the future, but Steidten’s scouting has seen the likes of Kudus come through the door at the London Stadium, so if he thinks Steuckers is the right man, he has earned the fans’ trust.
In other West Ham news, the club could look to sign a striker from Atletico Madrid.
