West Ham United have set their sights on Athletic Club left-back Adama Boiro.

There has been a desire to add defensive reinforcements at the London Stadium throughout the window.

Nuno Espirito Santo has only managed to bring in Joel Veltman at this stage.

How could West Ham structure deal for Adama Boiro?

The window is set to slam shut at 11pm, leaving the Irons with limited time to make a deal happen.

It appears that they have a target in mind to try and bring a new left-back in before the deadline.

The West Ham Way reported on Tuesday that the Hammers have identified Boiro as their main left-back target at this stage.

Talks are said to be underway over a loan with an option to buy.

The 24-year-old is said to be keen on the move and everyone wants to get a deal done before the window slams shut.

The East London club haven't started the campaign in the best fashion, but are looking to change things with their transfer business.
