West Ham United continue to wave goodbye to various stars beyond the end of the transfer window.
The Hammers had a pretty busy end to the transfer window after a quiet start.
Joel Veltman came in and opened the floodgates as he was joined by a further seven fresh faces.
That was nothing compared to the 16 names that moved on after relegation from the Premier League.
The likes of Songoutou Magassa and Edson Alvarez failed to make a move elsewhere despite their best efforts.
They won't get the chance to move any time soon, but the same can't be said about two academy talents.
Who has just left West Ham on loan?
There is a number of academy products getting their chance in the first-team this season in E20.
Nuno Espirito Santo has put faith in the likes of Joshua Ajala and Lewis Orford already.
That provides a positive pathway, but for some the current campaign will come too soon in their development.
That can be said of Ryan Battrum and Preston Fearon who completed Rush Green exits on Monday.
They joined Southend United and Forest Green Rovers respectively.
The structure of both deals are different and will see them get varied experience as a result.
When will Ryan Battrum and Preston Fearon return?
It is positive to see two academy talents go out to get some first-team football under their belts.
Both will feature in the National League and will certainly be keen to make a positive impression.
Battrum has only joined on a one-month loan and will return to the London Stadium in October.
Rayan Oyebade is also featuring for the Shrimpers and will help him settle in under Kieron Dyer.
Fearon has the chance to impose himself for longer as his spell won't come to an end until January.
His three-month spell will see him work with Robbie Savage, with his debut potentially in line for Tuesday against Carlisle United.
It will then be interesting to see where the fate of both players lie once they come back to East London.
Further loan spells feel likely, but the decision will ultimately down to those in the know at Rush Green.
