West Ham United new manager will have a big job on his hands

Replacing David Moyes won’t be an easy job this summer if he is to leave the club as expected, and that’s not just on the pitch.

The Hammers have had great success in recent seasons, but fans want to see a more attacking style of football in place and so whoever comes in to replace him will know their remit immediately.

But they will also have to deal with quite a bit of upheaval off the pitch too, with Lucas Paqueta expected to move to Manchester City, Chelsea chasing Jarrod Bowen and the future up other players up in the air.

So the last thing they will want are more players being unhappy with their situation, and Coufal has been a key member of the squad for several years and has made the right-back spot his own.

The club must hold talks with the Czech Republic international and find a way to resolve the issue, or face losing another integral member of the squad ahead of the new season.

In other West Ham news, one out-of-work boss has held talks with both the Hammers and a European giant about the manager’s job.
