Todibo regret at West Ham United amid ‘Sensational’ Juventus approach

Jean-Clair Todibo regrets joining West Ham United over Juventus, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

The Italian journalist reported via his website (Thursday, 23 January) that the centre-back wants to leave the Irons despite only joining them on a season-long loan from OGC Nice in the summer.

Juventus are, therefore, thinking about signing the France international again, with a “sensational” approach already made over a loan deal.

West Ham to rue Jean-Clair Todibo signing at London Stadium

Todibo was linked with the likes of Manchester United before joining West Ham and it appeared that the East London outfit have made a massive coup.

However, the Hammers may already be regretting signing the 25-year-old, who had a bust-up with Julen Lopetegui before his sacking at one point [GiveMeSport].

It is worth noting that Pedulla’s report is in contrast to what Roshane Thomas wrote on The Athletic on the same day.

As per The Athletic, Todibo has informed his representatives that he is happy at the London Stadium and intends to repay the faith they have placed in him.

West Ham, on the other hand, plan to go forward with the obligation to buy him from Nice.

Therefore, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Todibo. With the winter transfer window running until 3 February, it is possible that he will leave the Premier League club.

He has a decision to make after long-term admirers Juventus returned with a loan approach for him.

In other West Ham news, Potter has made up his mind on another Irons defender amid interest from a UEFA Champions League club.
