West Ham United continue to eye a move for Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor.

The Haiti international is coming off the back of netting a wonder goal at the World Cup.

He has now returned to the Black Cats ahead of the new Premier League campaign at the Stadium of Light.

The 25-year-old has emerged as a target for the Hammers as they go in search of a new forward.

Nuno Espirito Santo is yet to bring in anyone to bolster his forward line and could look to the striker.

Isidor is in no rush to leave the Stadium of Light despite interest from the Irons, Ipswich Town and Hull City.

The Tractor Boys are set to attempt a £14million bid, while the Tigers are coming in at a lower fee of £12m.

West Ham are said to have put in a larger bid than the latter, but may fall down due to their Championship status.

Isidor and Troy Parrott appear to be on the shortlist right now and both pose top options.

The Sunderland man would bring experience of the second tier, as he scored 13 and assisted two in his one and only second tier campaign.

That was followed up by another six in 11 Premier League starts.

By comparison, Parrott has struggled historically in the Championship with just three career goals in the division.

The Republic of Ireland international has gone on to feature in the Netherlands and put up 41 goal involvements last season.

That has certainly caught the eye and is the sort of output that could transform the Irons.

Bringing in both would be sensational business and may prove to be the difference between promotion and another year in the second tier.

They may cost closer to £50m combined, but would be money well spent.
