Roma chief Tiago Pinto wants to offload West Ham-linked Robin Olsen while in London
Roma general manager Tiago Pinto has flown into the UK with a view to finding a new club for West Ham-linked Robin Olsen, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Italian news outlet, elaborating on TuttoSport’s report that the Portuguese supremo is in London primarily to discuss a move for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, claims he is also attempting to offload some unwanted Roma players while he’s in England.
West Ham have previously been linked with the 31-year-old goalkeeper, and are said to like the Sweden international alongside Championship side Sheffield United.

No chance
There were previous reports linking the Irons with the Scandanavian star labelled a “monster” by prominent Spanish newspaper Marca [via Svenska Dagbladet] on June 14 during the European Championship.
However, those were before we signed PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola on a season-long loan deal.
As such, we now have two goalkeepers vying for the number one jersey in Areola and Lukasz Fabianski.
Furthermore, Darren Randolph and David Martin still remain at the club, so there are four senior goalkeepers on the books at the London Stadium.
Pinto may very well be offering Olsen’s services to clubs in England with the 2020/21 Everton loanee deemed surplus to requirements by Jose Mourinho in Italy, but he’s wasting his time if he thinks West Ham will sign him now.
Sheffield United sounds like a much more realistic opportunity given persistent reports linking their shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale with a move to Arsenal.
West Ham do need some new signings, but one thing certainly not on our agenda is another goalkeeper.
In other West Ham news, the club have made an approach to sign this ex-Irons trialist from a Premier League rival.
