Manor Solomon key, 4/10 is mystery - Every West Ham United signing ranked so far

West Ham United have recovered from a slow start to the Championship season.

Nuno Espirito Santo had to navigate a really tricky summer after suffering relegation from the Premier League.

After banking way over £100million for the sales of Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes, business was expected quickly.

That didn't happen at the London Stadium.

West Ham mainly kickstarted their transfer business after the season had started, with eight players signed in total.

And now, West Ham Zone have ranked them all so far...

Joel Veltman - 7

This is a strange one.

Signed after leaving Brighton as a free agent, the Dutchman arrived with excellent experience at the highest level.

With Kyle Walker-Peters younger and more attacking, he was still expected to start more games under Nuno.

That has happened, but Veltman has stepped in solidly when called upon.

Morato - 7

It's been a good start for the Brazilian at the London Stadium.

Another with Premier League experience, Morato signed on loan from Nottingham Forest late in the window.

Playing mainly as a left-back when called upon, he has already scored and looks to be a safe pair of boots at the back.

Adama Boiro - 4

This may seem harsh, but it's hard to see where he gets his foot in the door in east London right now.

Boiro has only played 23 minutes since signing, staying on the bench against Bolton and not even making the squad at Millwall.

Something will need to change drastically for this to improve for both parties, as this mystery signing continues.

Divine Mukasa - 8

He's really starting to find his feet at West Ham again.

Returning to the Hammers on loan after leaving them for Manchester City in 2023, he's been a constant in a new-look midfield.

His crowning moment was those goals against Wolves, and it's those types of strikes that will make him unforgettable.

Arne Engels - 7

The Belgian was the big-money signing of the summer from Celtic, leaving European football behind to spearhead this promotion push.

While the rating may be somewhat harsh, we are yet to see the gamechanging moments needed by a marquee signing.

Engels has been solid enough, but there's definitely a sense that we need more, as seen with his scrumptious delivery at Bolton for an assist.

Edvin Austbo - 6

This has come with its fair share of drama already.

Austbo announced himself superbly off the bench against Derby, scoring and assisting in only 13 minutes of action.

After that he got his first start at Bolton, but only lasted 58 minutes without making too much of a dint.

Already describing West Ham as a stepping stone in his career, he needs to do a lot more to prove his worth after unecessary drama weeks into his move.

Manor Solomon - 8

Manor Solomon arrived as one of the new signings who had been there and done it in the Championship.

The Israeli winger was a star as Leeds won the Championship title two seasons ago, while on loan from Tottenham.

Finding a permanent home in West Ham will only help him replicate that.

So far, he is helping to share the burden with Jarrod Bowen, collecting two goals and a couple of assists.

As well as that, his Sofascore rating is averaged at 7.4, which is a sensational start to the season.

Joel Piroe - 7

Adding another striker was critical alongside Pablo and Taty Castellanos.

While those two put themselves about and are known for their work rate on and off the ball, Piroe is a different kind of striker.

You may not notice him much in games, but he will always pop up with a goal when it's needed most.

That has seen him bag three already, but there's a strong feeling that there's certainly more to come.
