Jarrod Bowen West Ham United exit stance shared amid Newcastle United interest
Jarrod Bowen has no interest in leaving West Ham this summer amid reported interest from Newcastle United, the Daily Mirror has said.
It was reported by the Telegraph (23 May) that the England winger is on the Magpies’ shortlist for summer transfer targets.
However, Samuel Meade wrote on the Mirror’s live transfer blog (26 May) that the 27-year-old forward wants to stay at the London Stadium signed a seven-year deal until 2030 back in October (Sky Sports).
Welcome Jarrod Bowen news for West Ham amid Newcastle United interest
It is understandable that Bowen will come onto the radar of teams after a season in which he scored 16 Premier League goals for the Hammers.
But with uncertainty over the future of Lucas Paqueta following his FA charge and Mohammed Kudus sure to attract admiring glances from elsewhere, the last thing West Ham would have needed is interest in Bowen really ramping up.

The 27-year-old will, of course, be hoping to focus on England over the next couple of months. He made Gareth Southgate’s provisional Three Lions squad for the tournament in Germany and will be itching to make sure he stays with the party when the squad gets trimmed down.
For now, though, it seems like Hammers supporters can breathe easy over Bowen, who seems to have no interest in exiting the club in news that will also be music to the ears of new boss Julen Lopetegui.
In other West Ham news, £17.1m could be enough for the Hammers to sign a “killer” striker.
