Jarrod Bowen makes Newcastle transfer decision after West Ham United development
West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen is set to stay at the club this summer, according to Graeme Bailey.
The journalist reported on 9 July that despite interest from Newcastle and Tottenham, Bowen has “little interest” in making the move across London or further up north.
When Spurs initially enquired about buying the winger, they were quoted an eye-watering £150million and are set to stick by that valuation.
What Jarrod Bowen staying means for West Ham United
Having already started to undergo a summer of change with the likes of Luis Guilherme [The Athletic, 13 June] and Max Kilman arriving, many expected some big departures from the Hammers this summer.
Bowen and Mohammed Kudus have both been rumoured as potential exits at the London Stadium.
But fortunately for Hammers fans, it seems as if their dynamic duo are set to stay put, for now at least.
Kudus did have a release clause that could’ve been activated but those interested deemed the £85m required a bit too steep.

Bowen staying will also be music to West Hams fans’ ears as without the former Hull City man, they would have been nowhere near ninth in the Premier League last term.
As long as Julen Lopetegui continues to dip into the market for one or two more additions, there’s no reason why the London-based club can’t outdo their ninth-placed finish from the 2023/24 season.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers must surely go for Alexander Sorloth this summer after recent transfer update.
