Ian Abrahams speaks out after latest Jarrod Bowen transfer update at West Ham United
Jarrod Bowen is once again in the media as West Ham United face added doubt over his future at the London Stadium.
Bowen has been talismanic over the years for the Hammers, dragging the east London club to some serious highs.
However, his future in the capital naturally remains in doubt as a result of West Ham's relegation to the Championship.
Recent reports have suggested that Everton are interested in the wideman, with a ridiculous £20million fee even mentioned.
With David Moyes in charge on Merseyside, the pair could be up for a reunion, after a successful period together at the London Stadium.
With this in mind, reporter and West Ham fan Ian Abrahams has reacted like many around the London Stadium.
Jarrod Bowen update given amid Everton interest
Joining in 2020, Bowen has continued to become more and more important for the Hammers, taking the captains armband in 2024.
Of course, it is only natural that a player of his ability faces questions about his future, after leaving the Championship over six years ago.
Reacting to the news, Abrahams would say: "This is not a credible price but understandable Moyesy is very keen."
Bowen and Moyes would enjoy a sensational time together, with West Ham lifting the UEFA Conference League in 2023.
The man of the moment in Prague that night would be Bowen, who scored the winner in the dying moments - showing excellent composure when sent through on goal.
Should he leave, Irons fans would of course wish him well, but it does not change how much it would sting.
West Ham fans to have mixed feelings over Moyes and Bowen situation
Losing Bowen to any other club this summer would understandably, hit hard.
On one hand though, a reunion with Moyes would be quite the poetic moment for the player himself.
However, even this would sting, with the thought of Bowen in another Premier League club's colours simply unimaginable.
At the same time, Everton are not exactly a club on the up.
At this stage of his career, Bowen deserves his success, being able to finally add more trophies to what is a relatively empty cabinet given his quality.
Yet more mid-table obscurity will not invoke the same sense of pride, and given the recent season for Everton, they seem to be heading that way.
