Fabrizio Romano: Divine Mukasa completes medical to exit West Ham United, ‘here we go’
Divine Mukasa has completed a medical at Manchester City ahead of joining them from West Ham United, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Writing via his personal Twitter account on Thursday morning (21 September), Romano reported that it’s now a “done deal” for the 16-year-old sensation to head to the Etihad Stadium.
Romano adds that an official announcement will come soon.
“Understand Divine Mukasa completed medical tests at Manchester City — it’s [a] done deal, here we go confirmed.
“England U17 midfielder will join City from West Ham, official announcement also expected soon.”
All the best
Mukasa is a young West Ham player who most fans won’t have heard of because of his tender age.
The England youth international only celebrated his 16th birthday last month but last season, he played 10 times in the Under-18s Premier League for the Irons.
He scored one goal and supplied one assist in those games, with a goal coming against Arsenal’s Under-18s on 15 April.

Man City have one of the best youth recruitment policies in the world so for them to want Mukasa says a lot.
We wish him all the best at the Etihad. However, all we’re concerned about is how much money the Irons are going to be paid in compensation for the teenage sensation.
West Ham’s youth network is great and they no doubt have one of the best set-us in the country.
However, when players leave at a young age, the club needs to do whatever they can to receive as much money as possible because we don’t want to see players quitting and then going on to become world-beaters.
Mukasa has a long way to go and while we wouldn’t wish anything against him in his development, it would be very frustrating if that happened to the Hammers.
In other West Ham news, a decision has been made on Jesse Lingard.
