Carlos Soler to jet into London on Deadline Day to sign for West Ham United

Carlos Soler’s loan move from Paris Saint-Germain to West Ham United is “moving ahead”, according to Nacho Sanchis.

The Spanish journalist wrote via X on Friday (30 August) that the plan is for the 27-year-old to travel to London today ahead of joining the Hammers.

One final detail is yet to be established, whether the purchase option will be mandatory or obligatory, with this depending on West Ham’s financial fair play situation.

However, the loan is almost ready.

West Ham United set to sign Carlos Soler on loan from Paris Saint-Germain?

This is a very exciting update for Julen Lopetegui and supporters at the London Stadium.

It has been quite the window for the Hammers. Significant improvements have been made in defence, with Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all signing for the club.

And some exciting forwards have been added to the squad too, most notably Crysencio Summerville, who was last year’s Championship Player of the Season with Leeds United.

Therefore, it would have been difficult for any West Ham fan to have complaints about how the club’s transfer window has gone were it to end like this.

However, it now looks as though Soler is also set to sign for the club, which is just the icing on the cake.

While the purchase option is yet to be established, it seems as though either way there will be an option in some shape or form, which is a bonus.
