Predicted West Ham XI v Crystal Palace

West Ham will be looking to make it three wins from three when they take on Crystal Palace at the London Stadium on Saturday.

There is an age-old saying ‘Don’t fix what isn’t broken’ and David Moyes is likely to apply that philosophy going into the game, at least in terms of his outfielders.

However, when it comes to goalkeepers, the Hammers signed Alphonse Areola this summer and he could be looking for some playing time and he may start ahead of Lukasz Fabianski.

The Hammers haven’t kept a clean sheet in either of their two games so dropping Fabianksi for Areola is a decision that he can explain to the team.

Apart from that, we do not expect to see a single change from defence to attack.

There could’ve been another new signing in Kurt Zouma had we finalised that deal, but as things stand he is not yet a Hammers player and once he does, he’s likely to make his debut after the international break.

In defence, Vladimir Coufal will start at right-back with Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna playing as the two centre-backs.

Veteran Aaron Cresswell will start at left-back, although we could see Arthur Masuaku pushing him for a spot in the starting eleven in the coming weeks.

In midfield, Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek have formed a seamless understanding and will be Moyes’ first two names on the team sheet along with Michail Antonio.

Said Benrahma has started the season strongly and will form an attacking triplet with Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals.

Antonio, who may have been reading all the talk of the Hammers trying to sign a new striker, has started the season in fine form and will lead the line on Saturday.
