Nuno Espirito Santo isn't helping himself at West Ham United.

There is always going to be massive pressure on the Irons given the expectation surrounding them.

Should promotion not be secured this season, it would certainly be classed as a failure.

That aim means wins are necessary every week, so drawing or losing at the London Stadium brings plenty of frustration.

That was the case against Queens Park Rangers as Jarrod Bowen netted the equaliser to seal a point from behind.

West Ham were annoyed by the result as Nuno once again cost his side, and it can't continue.

It is now two draws on the bounce for the claret and blue outfit.

They have both followed similar themes and that has to raise alarm bells in East London.

Cast your mind back to The Den as the Hammers came back from behind to steal a point against Millwall.

An excellent second half showing was necessary that day as the opening 45 were shocking.

Nuno moved at half-time to make a double change as Pablo and Mohamadou Kante replaced Joel Piroe and Kyle Walker-Peters.

That worked in the end, but it was a story that shouldn't have been repeated.

Instead, the draw with QPR followed the same script as Pablo and Edvin Austbo replaced Walker-Peters and Tomas Soucek.

That is indicative of the Irons being poor in first half displays and it ends up costing them.

Although that can be blamed on the players, it will ultimately come down to Nuno,

Could West Ham sack Nuno?

It had felt as if the Portuguese head coach had found his best XI in E20.

That has quickly fallen by the wayside as both Millwall and QPR have seen a potential six point haul become just two.

Picking the wrong XI is starting to impact the claret and blue outfit.

Right now, he is yet to lose since August in the Championship, but defeats could start to creep in based on these recent showings.

Should that continue on a weekly basis, it may end with calls for the sack.

It will all depend on where West Ham sit in the table, but if they fall away from the automatic promotion race, that won't reflect well on Nuno.
