West Ham want to sign Hull City defender Jacob Greaves
West Ham are reportedly keen on signing Hull City defender Jacob Greaves.
According to 90Min, the 21-year-old is on a transfer shortlist of the Hammers as they look to bring in a centre-back in the summer.
Brentford are the other team keen on securing the Englishman’s services and it could be a two-horse race between the London clubs come June.

Tipped for greatness
Greaves may not be that well known to the average Premier League fan but he is killing it in the Championship.
He has become a regular in the Hull defence and has shown signs of Harry Maguire during his Leicester days.
He’s modelled his game around the Manchester United captain and is a Premier League move away from showcasing his talents to the rest of the country.
When first breaking into the Tigers’ squad, Greaves received high praise from boss Grant McCann.
“The kid is going to be special, it’s as simple as that,” said McCann.

Brentford are battling relegation and even if they survive, they may not have the funds to win a bidding war against West Ham.
If the Hammers are realistically going to pursue the 21-year-old’s services, then, by all means, they should as they’ve got a great chance of signing him.
