West Ham United transfer news as update emerges on Jesse Lingard quest
Many believe West Ham will be securing the services of former Manchester United and Nottingham Forest attacker Jesse Lingard, according to Claret and Hugh.
The reliable Hammers news website reported on Saturday (9 September) that they may have to make a decision quickly on the 30-year-old.
This is because the England international is now being offered to clubs in Saudi Arabia as well.

Lingard might not be everyone’s cup of tea but if he can offer an option in reserve, there won’t be many complaining about it.
Managers often moan about having strength in depth and a player like Lingard, who can play multiple positions, offers just that.
Lingard does not have to play every week but if there are tired legs or an injury crisis, he can be called upon.
David Moyes knows him well and the Englishman has played some of his best football under him so this could be a match made in heaven.
It remains to be seen how quickly the Hammers act as there are other teams too that may be in need of last-minute reinforcements.
He will obviously not command as high a salary as he would two years ago as he no longer is the same player.
