West Ham United: Release clause revealed to appoint Fulham boss Marco Silva

West Ham have learnt the release clause to appoint Fulham manager Marco Silva to replace David Moyes, according to the Sun.

The newspaper reported on its website on 4 April that it will take £8.6million to prise the Portuguese away from Craven Cottage.

It puts interested clubs on red alert and the Hammers can talk to Silva if that release clause is met.

Silva might be worth a punt for West Ham

Silva’s experience in managing Premier League clubs like Watford, Hull City and Everton provides him with valuable knowledge of the league’s demands and challenges.

Additionally, Silva’s track record of achieving promotion with Fulham from the Championship demonstrates his ability to build successful teams and handle pressure situations.

Many expected the London side to get relegated right away as they have whenever they’ve come up but he’s turned around the fortunes to make them an established top flight side.

Furthermore, Silva’s tactical acumen and willingness to adapt his style of play could align well with West Ham’s ambitions and playing philosophy.

His past achievements, such as leading Olympiacos to a Greek league title and reaching the Carabao Cup semi-finals with Fulham, showcase his ability to compete at a high level.

Moreover, Silva being relatively young at 46, could mean he brings fresh ideas and energy to the club, potentially revitalising West Ham’s approach and motivating players.
