Fabrizio Romano has responded to the rumours with regard to David Moyes and West Ham making a decision over his sack.

In his daily briefing on Substack, Romano admits that the future of the Scotsman appears to be "in limbo".

As of now, the club are focusing on their domestic and European goals and anything else will be discussed later.

Romano wrote: "Moyes still in limbo at West Ham.

"Rumours appear to be continuing on David Moyes but at this stage I'm not aware of decisions made about him by West Ham.

"The club are fully focused on the Premier League and European football, so everything that comes next will be discussed later.

"I think many times we heard that Moyes was almost gone and he's still there. Nothing is decided yet."

West Ham must not make David Moyes sack decision before May

With less than two months left in the season, it's pragmatic for the Hammers to postpone any decision regarding Moyes' future.

The team is currently in contention for achieving their goals, both domestically and in continental competitions, making stability critical during this crucial period.

However, despite the team's relative success, Moyes' style of play has come under scrutiny.

The lack of fluidity and excitement in West Ham's performances has left fans disenchanted.

While results have been positive on the whole, the manner of play has become stale, leading to growing frustrations among supporters.

It's evident that individual performances have often carried the team, masking underlying issues with the team's overall strategy.

Without the triumph in the UEFA Conference League last season, Moyes' tenure might have been called into question much earlier.

The need for a fresh approach and a more dynamic style of play is becoming increasingly apparent as the Irons will want to have a solid foundation.
