West Ham United on verge of agreeing personal terms with Armando Broja

West Ham United are on the verge of agreeing on personal terms with Chelsea forward Armando Broja, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The reliable journalist has reported that the Albanian international will have his future clairifed very soon, and is now on his way back to England to sort out his future.

Broja was in the United States of America on a pre-season tour, but that has ended with many clubs now pushing the Irons in the race for his signature.

Writing on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning (18 July), Romano shared the latest with a move appearing to edge closer this week.

“Armando Broja will clarify his future very soon,” he wrote. “West Ham are really close to reaching an agreement with Broja on personal terms, talks ongoing with Chelsea.

“There are many clubs interested – Chelsea, on it. Broja’s on his way back to England.”

Here We Go.

West Ham United are leading this race, and it couldn’t be any clearer.

Rob Newman and David Moyes have pushed for Broja as their priority in the final third for weeks now, and just as it started to look unclear, things have gone into overdrive.

With the striker jetting back into England from America, Thomas Tuchel has clearly given his blessing for it to happen and these talks to progress, or he simply would have stayed put.

Broja will offer much-needed depth and competition in the final third, with Michail Antonio finally getting another player alongside him after years of carrying that burden.

With an agreement for personal terms very close now, we expect talks over the fee that would go to Chelsea to pick up very soon too, with a £30million package offered in the last week.

The Hammers are finally closing in on that new striker that we have all been crying out for, this is going to be a massive moment ahead of the new season.
