West Ham United frustrations with Thilo Kehrer emerge amid behind-the-scenes disappointment
West Ham are understood to be frustrated by the performances of Thilo Kehrer according to Paul Brown in an interview with Give Me Sport.
He claims that the Germany international did not do enough with the chances he had to prove himself in the first team.
The 27-year-old recently has been away from the Hammers playing eleven and has found game time hard to come by.

Brown said, “I think Kehrer has been a little bit disappointing. I sense that there might be some frustration with him at West Ham.
“I don’t think he was particularly consistent when he was getting a run in the team, and it’s not a big surprise to see him not starting every week at the moment.
“I think he’s got some work to do to fight his way back, so we’ll see if he can manage to do that. But I don’t really think he’s showing enough at the moment to justify a starting spot, so he’s going to have to work hard to get back in the team.”
Do better
Kehrer was signed in the summer of 2022 for a £10million fee and one of the reasons for that was that he was a versatile player.
He’s capable of playing at right-back as well as a centre-back and has also been deployed in central midfield in the past.
However, he just hasn’t proven to be good enough at the London Stadium and the club have every right to be frustrated with him.

He’s got to prove he deserves to be at the club and he perhaps may be running out of time and could be shipped off in January.
It’s clear that the club needs a new striker and whatever they can recoup from Kehrer’s sale will go into signing a new front man.
If Kehrer has got the fighter’s mentality he’ll certainly look to prove everyone wrong and fight for his spot at the club.
