West Ham United: Changes continue at London Stadium as resignation lands after relegation
West Ham United are still dealing with the repercussions of Premier League relegation.
Despite a late fight with the 3-0 victory over Leeds at the London Stadium, it wasn’t enough to keep the Irons afloat, with Championship football now set.
They will join Wolves and Burnley in looking to bounce back at the first time of asking, and despite more than a decade away, it won’t be easy.
David Sullivan has already made his first major call, with Nuno Espirito Santo being backed to guide the Hammers back to the Premier League.
It was thought that West Ham would sack Nuno, but that U-turn is not the same higher up.

West Ham United exits begin
Maximilian Hahn is one of the first to leave his post at the London Stadium, handing in his resignation after relegation was confirmed.

Hahn was Head of Technical Recruitment and Analysis for the Hammers, but that role will now be taken forward by somebody else.
ExWHUemployee has now reported for the West Ham Way that boyhood fan, Dylan Curnell, will be promoted into a position with more influence.

Hahn joined in 2024 and is highly rated enough to have several possible opportunities already lined up for his next move in football.
Ex went on to share that West Ham are set to announce a new technical director in the coming weeks, with several backroom changes expected to help their promotion bid.
Who is Dylan Curnell?
Having worked through the ranks at the London Stadium and Rush Green, it’s clear that Curnell will have a big say in helping West Ham back to the Premier League.
Starting in the academy ranks, Curnell was a performance analyst for the under-18s before becoming head of analysis for the entire youth set-up.
He then moved into the first team, becoming a recruitment analyst.

That all points towards Curnell working closely with Nuno and his team in seeking out possible transfer targets to move to the London Stadium for a Championship promotion bid.
After starting his career with Cardiff, graduating from their Metropolitan Uni in 2019, he will be relishing the challenge, clearly the biggest of his spell in east London so far.
With plenty of player sales expected first, it certainly won’t be an easy task.
