West Ham are reportedly open to parting ways with Arthur Masuaku in the January transfer window.

According to Claret and Hugh, the Hammers will accept any offer that they receive for the player in a bid to get him off the club’s payroll and also have some funds added to their transfer kitty.

It is understood that the left-back could attract a fee in the region of £4million.

For a player who’s featured only twice since April, the Irons fans are delighted to be seeing the back of him.

Here’s what they said:

Have to move on

When fit, Masuaku is a player who can bring something unique to the table, but the problem is that David Moyes can’t count on his fitness record.

Rather than having him run down his contract and hoping he’s fit whenever the manager needs him, it’s best to cash in on him while they can.

Getting even £4million for his services would be decent business and it remains to be seen if there are clubs keen on signing him.

The best thing the Irons can do is sell him in January and sign a left-back on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
