West Ham Super Fans have flocked to a post on the West Ham Zone Facebook page about Jesse Lingard.
The 28-year-old has reportedly rejected a new contract at Manchester United due to fears over playing time at Old Trafford [The Times].
This has drawn the attention of our Super Fans who believe that Lingard has missed his chance to move permanently to the London Stadium.

Has Lingard missed his opportunity to join the Irons?
David Moyes wanted to bring Lingard back permanently after he made a huge impact with the Hammers last season.
However, it never appeared as if the attacking midfielder was that keen, and in the end, he didn’t join the Irons.
The Hammers moved swiftly and picked up Nikola Vlasic, and it doesn’t appear as if the Irons need Lingard now while he will have to fight very hard for game time.

The 28-year-old revived his England career and looked to have found the perfect home in east London, but he decided to take the risk back at Old Trafford, and it doesn’t appear as if it is going to work out.
This is a shame, but he had his chance to join the Hammers, and he decided that he didn’t want to, so he has made his bed, and now he must lie in it.
