West Ham shortlist Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry
West Ham have reportedly placed Middlesbrough centre-back Dael Fry on their shortlist for this summer.
According to 90Min, the Hammers are keen on signing a centre-back this summer and have a six-player shortlist including all positions.
Fry, 24, has some experience of playing in the Premier League when Boro were in the English top flight.

Good move?
A new centre-back is the need of the hour for David Moyes as he did not get his wishes fulfilled in January.
Despite a season-ending injury to Angelo Ogbonna, the Hammers hierarchy did not do their bit to give the manager the best tools to finish in the European places once again this season.
Fry has been a player who’s been linked with a Premier League move for the past few years.
However, for whatever reason, that has never quite materialised for him.
In November 2021, Teeside Live’s Boro Editor waxed lyrical of the Englishman’s “magnificent” form.

There’s no denying that he’s a quality player on his day but if the Hammers are looking to reach that next level, Fry may not be the kind of centre-back they need.
They should rather look out for someone who’s got experience playing at a big club in the Champions League like they did with Kurt Zouma.
