West Ham receive major boost in pursuit of Ben Brereton Diaz
Tottenham Hotspur have cooled their interest in West Ham United’s target striker Ben Brereton Diaz, according to Claret & Hugh.
The report stated that the North London-based club are now looking for alternatives to Blackburn Rovers striker.
It is believed that one of the primary reasons for Spurs’ decision to move away from the 23-year-old is the signing of Richarlison from Everton.

The Hammers are in the market to sign a striker to bolster their squad ahead of the next campaign and have been linked with a number of players and one of them is Diaz.
Diaz was one of the standout players for Blackburn last season in the Championship which intensified interest in him from a number of Premier League clubs.
There is a reason why a number of Premier League clubs are inclined to this move and want to sign the Chile international.
In the 2021-22 season, the Chile international scored 22 goals and provided three assists in the Championship.
Moreover, he averaged 2.8 shots per goal, had a pass completion of 73% and had a rating of 7.06, according to Whoscored.

Even though the 22-year-old prefers to play as the striker, he can also be accommodated behind the striker as an attacking midfielder or a second striker.
He usually likes to stay mobile and be involved in attacking moves all the time rather than just being on the end of it.
Those attributes make him an ideal fit for the Irons and after such a development, manager David Moyes must ensure that he takes the deal over the line.
