West Ham United manager David Moyes ‘will have suitors’ claims Joe Cole
West Ham manager David Moyes “will have suitors” after taking his side to the Europa League semi-final, claims ex-winger Joe Cole.
David Moyes’ side fell to a 3-1 aggregate defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday (May 5).
Despite the defeat, Cole believes that the job Moyes has done at the London Stadium will have attracted interest from elsewhere.
Talking to BT Sport after the defeat, Cole said: “There’ll be suitors for David Moyes after what he has done at this club.
“40-odd years since West Ham have been at this stage of a European competition, not mentioning him having a small squad and being on a budget.
“He’s done very well.”
Moyes interest
Despite Cole’s claims about interest in Moyes, West Ham won’t need to worry about losing their manager.
The Scot had endured a terrible few years in management before his dramatic turnaround at the London Stadium.
The job he has done has been remarkable and there is a feeling that Moyes is a good fit at the London Stadium.

When Moyes left Everton for pastures new he struggled he found success hard to come by.
West Ham and Moyes suit each other and even if another club did come in for the Scot it would be hard to see him leaving the London Stadium.
What is absolutely vital for the Hammers is that they build on the success they have had this season.
Building a side that will compete at the same level next season has to be the priority for the Hammers’ hierarchy.
If the Irons can keep hold of Declan Rice and add some strength in depth next season, then they will be in an excellent position to compete at the right end of the league again.
In other West Ham news, a BBC pundit has urged West Ham to sign a £40million rated Chelsea wantaway, saying he would be a “great fit”.
