Shaka Hislop urges West Ham United to sign Chelsea wantaway Christian Pulisic

Former West Ham United ace Shaka Hislop believes out of favour Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic would be a “great fit” at the London Stadium.

Unhappy at Stamford Bridge due to a lack of game time, the 23-year-old’s father took to social media to address the issue.

The USA international is said to be worth £40.5million and David Moyes has been urged to lure him away from their London rivals by Hislop.

With one of the panel suggesting that the pair could be a perfect match, The BBC pundit replied: “I think would be a great fit for him,” as per ESPN.

“Might be exactly what he needs to be playing if he wants to start and start regularly.”

Why not?

Pulisic is a very, very good player. From what we have seen of him at Chelsea is very promising but he still hasn’t reached his full potential and he may never will at Stamford Bridge.

They are renowned for signing players they don’t need and almost destroying their careers – take Mo Salah and Kevin De Bruyne for example. That is far from saying the American is going to hit those heights but he certainly has more in the tank.

The Hammers could do with another quick, tricky winger to partner Jarrod Bowen on the other flank. Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma are great but if Moyes wants to take this team to the next level a few more, higher calibre players are required.

He has brilliant experience in all of the best competitions and if the Irons get Champions League football this year – there is no reason why he wouldn’t want to come to east London. He would undoubtedly be a regular starter.
