West Ham finally plotting move to sign Jesse Lingard

West Ham are finally set to make an offer for Jesse Lingard in a cut-price £15million bid, according to the Daily Star.

The 28-year-old has been almost consistently linked with a move back to the London Stadium this whole summer transfer window, but it seems as if they are finally planning to make an offer.

The report states that the Irons have a chance of signing Lingard because of Cristiano Ronaldo’s sensational return to Manchester United.

Will Lingard finally return to the Hammers?

This has been a very boring transfer saga, but if the Hammers could get Lingard for £15million, that would be an incredible deal.

However, given that the Hammers are also close to signing Nikola Vlasic, it remains to be seen how much truth there is to this report on Lingard [the Guardian].

Would the Hammers really sign both Vlasic and Lingard, given how well Said Benrahma has done at the start of the season?

However, if they don’t get Vlasic, then you would think Lingard could finally make a return to the London Stadium, given that he was fantastic for the Irons last season.

He was described as “unbelievable” by Andy Goldstein, and he could be the ideal addition for David Moyes’ side as long as the Irons do actually make a bid [talkSPORT].
