West Ham-bound Nayef Aguerd may already be in London ahead of medical
Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd is reportedly mooted to be in London ahead of his West Ham medical.
According to Ouest France, the 26-year-old is set to become the first Hammers signing of the summer after a lengthy pursuit.
West Ham and Rennes are believed to be very close to reaching an agreement and Aguerd has even been given permission by the Moroccan federation to secure a transfer.

Sign him up
West Ham seem to have the slowest negotiators in Europe as most of their deals take ages before they progress.
There’s been a personal agreement with Aguerd for weeks but they are still not able to reach an agreement over a fee with Rennes.
Hopefully, the Hammers are not fleeced into paying too much for the Moroccan, and at this moment, anything seems to be likely.
That said, it’s a relief that the club will make their first signing of the summer before July as they’ve often left it very late to conclude deals.
Kurt Zouma will also be delighted that he’s got a centre-back partner who’s not past his prime and the two could form a seamless understanding at the heart of the Irons defence.
In Aguerd, Moyes will be getting a defender who’s a solid defender and also good with the ball at his feet.
