West Ham ace Declan Rice remains doubt for Wolves clash
Declan Rice is still a doubt for the West Ham v Wolves game on Saturday, according to a report in The Athletic.
The 22-year-old had to pull out of the England squad during the international break due to an illness, and there are still question marks around his availability.
Rice has played every minute of every Premier League for the Hammers this season.
Big blow
The Englishman has been West Ham’s best player this season and despite Michail Antonio’s exploits, Rice’s absence will be felt more.
David Moyes has asked Rice to play slightly advanced this term and he’s done a phenomenal job.

He’s managed to link up well with the attackers and more importantly, has known when to surge forward and when to hold his position.
Without Rice, a player labelled by Gareth Southgate as “outstanding” [West Ham website], in the team, the Hammers’ midfield balance will get affected and that could see Wolves play right through them.
Bruno Lage’s side have been easy on the eye and have been very quick on the transition.
Having Rice gives West Ham a better chance to win and all eyes will be on David Moyes’ press conference to see whether or not he’ll be fit for this game.
