Craig Dawson is likely to come in for the injured Angelo Ogbonna when West Ham visit the Molineux to take on Wolves on Saturday afternoon.

The Italian sustained an ACL injury and is expected to be out for several months, if not for the entire season.

Dawson, who has been the reserve option along with Diop, is expected to replace the 33-year-old, according to Claret and Hugh.

Right move?

Before Kurt Zouma was signed, Dawson was starting games over Diop, but was far from convincing.

His positioning was erratic at times and his lack of speed was exploited by some of the faster attackers in the Premier League.

He also made a number of defensive errors that put his side in a compromising position.

Recently, in the 2-2 draw in the Europa League against Genk, both he and Diop were responsible for allowing the opponents back into the game.

Dawson, who has previously been labelled as "dreadful" by Alan Curbishley on Premier League Productions, may not be the best option for David Moyes.

If we were the Scotsman, we would opt to start Diop over Dawson as we feel that he would complement Zouma better.

It remains to be seen whether Moyes has a change of heart because as things stand, he's likely to go with Dawson for this one.
