Trevor Sinclair believes that West Ham fans will never forgive David Gold & David Sullivan

Trevor Sinclair believes that West Ham fans will never forgive David Gold and David Sullivan, despite the recent success on the pitch.

Speaking on talkSPORT with Simon Jordan, the former Premier League striker revealed his thoughts on Gold and Sullivan and how they hit the jackpot by bringing Moyes back to the club.

He also revealed that he couldn’t see many, if any, Irons fans forgiving the current board for the decisions they have made.

He said: “The biggest thing that they’ve done right, and it’s lucky really, [is] that David Moyes agreed to go back to West Ham.”

Then when asked by Jordan about Moyes seeming to be happy with Gold and Sullivan, Sinclair responded and made a good point.

“The problems that West Ham fans have got with the owners won’t go away; it doesn’t matter what they are doing on the pitch because they achieved good results; they’ve started this season superbly well.

“I still see the hashtag [GSB out], they want them out [of] the football club.”

Is Sinclair right?

It certainly seems as if Moyes has achieved all of this recent success with the Hammers despite the board because it is not as if they have backed him with much money.

However, the signings they have made like Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal have been absolutely brilliant.

Yet, here we are with less than a week until the transfer window closes, and the Hammers have only signed a goalkeeper on loan for the first team.

So, you can see why Irons fans still want new owners at their football club.

Getting Moyes, or rather Moyes deciding to come back to the London Stadium, has worked out fantastically, but that doesn’t mean that Irons fans should be happy with their owners.

They have every right to demand Gold and Sullivan to be better, no matter how the team performs.

In other West Ham news, one player who the Irons want has been banished from the first team.
