Torino close to reaching loan agreement for West Ham United midfielder Nikola Vlasic
Italian club Torino are close to reaching an agreement to sign West Ham midfielder Nikola Vlasic on loan, according to a report from Tutto Mercato Web.
The Italian media outlet reported on their website on 19 June that Torino boss Ivan Juric has made a “special request” to sign the player.
Both the clubs are now close to reaching an agreement, as Juric wants to bring his compatriot to the Italian club.

Good move?
Vlasic joined the Hammers last summer for a fee of around £26.8m [BBC Sport] but he failed to justify his price tag in his first season.
The Croatia international managed only six starts in the Premier League and a further 13 have come from the bench.
The 24-year-old is a versatile playmaker who can play across all three positions upfront, while he is also capable of playing as a striker.
He failed to show his quality under David Moyes, and probably a move away from the club on loan will do a world of good for him.

At the same time, the Hammers are short of options in midfield, especially after the retirement of club legend Mark Noble.
Obviously, Moyes will be looking to make a few additions in midfield, but sending Vlasic out on loan raises eyebrows.
It could also mean that the Hammers could be lining up some deals, and probably that’s why they have decided to let Vlasic go out on loan.
