Rob Newman facing major doubts over West Ham transfers
West Ham head of recruitment Rob Newman is encountering doubts over his transfer involvement this summer, per Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers failed to sign anyone in January and there remains a growing concern that they must nail their acquisitions in the summer.
The report claims that they may need to sign as many as 10 players and it will be paramount that Newman gets his act together and plays a role in getting the signings over the line.

Disaster incoming?
It’s understood that Newman was never a part of negotiations at Manchester City when he was there.
His role at West Ham is clearly something he has not been suited to in the past.
This could be a major cause of worry as the Hammers would’ve thought they hired a specialist.
That’s not to say he won’t do a good job in the summer, but given how he fared in January, there’s a legitimate reason for being concerned.

Hopefully, the board assists him in every way they can as they made the call to bring him to the London Stadium.
However, another disastrous window could see many calling for his sacking and it could be justified after a year of failure in the transfer window.
