Maxence LaCroix tracked by Arsenal as well as West Ham United
West Ham United are rivalling Arsenal for Wolfsburg’s 22-year-old defender Maxence Lacroix according to Media Foot on Saturday 9 July.
According to Jeunes Footeux (16 May) the Hammers were interested in the France under-20 international.
It appears that their interest hasn’t wained, with the Hammers now rivalling Arsenal for the Wolfsburg defender as reported by Media Foot on Saturday 9 July.

LaCroix was reportedly “superb” last season as played 29 times in the Bundesliga and is contracted to the German side until the summer of 2025.
Ambitious
This would be an ambitious signing by David Moyes and would certainly add some much-needed depth to his back line.
However, this move does look rather unrealistic for the Hammers given his contract situation and the amount of interest that has emerged in the 22-year-old.
Considering West Ham have already made a centre-half signing this summer, it is unlikely that the Hammers will go back in for another premium centre-back such as Lacroix this summer.

Moyes does need to bolster his defence after their shaky end to last season, but it would be more realistic to see a cheaper backup alternative come into the club instead.
West Ham fans will be eager for some attacking signings to be made in the coming weeks, with a striker a priority for the club hierarchy.
The Hammers rarely struggled for goals last season, but some added competition for Michail Antonio would not go a miss at the London Stadium in the 2022/23 campaign.
A marquee attacking signing would certainly raise expectation levels at the London Stadium.
