Liverpool win race to sign West Ham target Fabio Carvalho
West Ham are reportedly set to miss out on the services of Fulham striker Fabio Carvalho with Liverpool poised to win the race.
According to 90Min, Leeds, Arsenal, Tottenham and Southampton were all keen on signing the 19-year-old either in January or on free when his contract expires in the summer.
While Fulham want to keep him, they’re increasingly worried that he is on his way out of the club.

Expected
Carvalho is widely viewed as one of England’s next big things, given his performances in the Championship.
Sky Sports’ Don Goodman called him “brilliant” in 2021 while Gary Weaver detailed the teenager’s desire to win the Ballon d’Or during his career.
He has clearly shown that he deserves a higher level of football and the next logical step is obviously the Premier League.
Of all the teams interested in him, Liverpool are clearly the best team to go, given their manager, club history and ability to challenge for the biggest trophies in the game.

While he may be moving to Anfield, they might not want him for the first team just yet.
This could them loaning him out to another Premier League, so it remains to be seen if that is possible.
Any move to the London Stadium this month does seem unlikely as of now.
