Laura Woods hails Jesse Lingard after Instagram post for West Ham star Declan Rice
Sky Sports presenter Laura Woods has professed her love for a photo of West Ham loan star Jesse Lingard wearing a Declan Rice England shirt.
Lingard posted a picture on his personal Instagram profile on Sunday with ‘Rice’ emblazoned on the back of an England jersey.
Speaking on talkSPORT [14/06/21], Woods expressed her fondness for the Manchester United man’s photo.
“I love this,” she said.
“He was wearing Declan Rice on the back of his shirt, he had a parrot on his shoulder in a bucket hat in the middle of a pub.
“I think it’s the best way to react after missing out on the England squad.
“I love that. It just looks like he’s having the best fun.”

Lingard shares a few traits with Rice, not least his infectious personality that radiates through the club.
After arriving from Manchester United midway through the 2020/21 campaign the 28-year-old stole the hearts of Irons supporters with his goals and light-hearted character.
Now we’re all waiting on him to sign up on permanent terms.
It might be a difficult deal to complete given how high his stock has risen after his successful loan spell at the London Stadium, with Manchester Untied sure to hold out for the biggest bid possible.
There is also likely to be heavy competition from other interested parties, but Lingard clearly has an affection for the Irons and his former teammates, particularly Rice.
Could that friendship help seal the deal? It’s certainly a factor that is likely to come into his thinking, given how well he settled into the group.
Signing Lingard could be the most important transfer we make this summer.
