Jim Beglin waxes lyrical over West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini v Liverpool
BT Sport pundit Jim Belgin was thrilled by Manuel Lanzini playing out of position for West Ham against Liverpool.
The Reds have gone into half-time with a 1-0 lead courtesy of a Sadio Mane strike.
However, Beglin was particularly impressed by Lanzini, who’s having to put in the dirty worth in Declan Rice’s absence.

Speaking on the Premier League world feed, Beglin said, “Lanzini is doing an incredible job. It’s not his job tackling and winning the ball in central midfield. He’s delivering.”
Good display
Rice’s absence raised eyebrows and it was keen to see who David Moyes would’ve gone for.
With Alex Kral and Mark Noble available, one would have thought he would fancy picking either of them.
However, he opted to play Lanzini in a slightly withdrawn role and he certainly has delivered the goods.

Despite the Hammers being down at the break, one cannot attach too much blame on the Argentine.
He has done what was expected from him and Moyes will certainly be asking him to deliver more of the same in the second period as well.
Hopefully, someone in the West Ham team can stand up and deliver something special as this game is still there for the taking with three points on the line.
