Jamie O’Hara slams West Ham owners Sullivan and Gold for lack of spending
Jamie O’Hara has slammed the West Ham owners David Gold and David Sullivan for their lack of investment in January.
He believes that despite having chances to strengthen the squad, they did not take it – costing the Hammers a chance to fight for top four.
Despite being in the latter stages of the Europa League, O’Hara believes that it could all come falling down like a pack of cards should they get knocked out.
He said, via Football Daily, “I think they missed the trick in January. They had the chance to invest, fighting for the top four, but they’ve been left short.
“The owners left Moyes and the players short.
“Spurs went out and improved their squad. West Ham had the opportunity, didn’t take it and that could cost them.
“If they finish 8th this season and get knocked out of the Europa League, West Ham fans will be disappointed.”
Spot on
O’Hara could not be more right about the Hammers owners.
They have let the club down time and again and despite last season being such a fruitful one, they showed that they’re not capable to ensure they reach the next level.

Moyes is doing everything he can with the limited resources he’s got at his disposal.
One cannot expect a serious top four challenge with the current crop of players.
Hopefully, Daniel Kretinsky’s funding helps the club loosen the purse strings in the summer.
In other West Ham news, the club want to sign a ‘Brilliant’ Chelsea player who will tick a major box for David Moyes in the summer.
