Grady Diangana reacts to Declan Rice’s post about West Ham’s defeat vs Arsenal

Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking to improve his West Ham team in the January transfer window.

Improvements are needed, as West Ham showed holes against Arsenal in their 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Nuno now needs to clean Julen Lopetegui’s transfer mess, and has already made big calls in leaving Jean-Clair Todibo out once more.

Grady Diangana has been linked with a return to West Ham, since leaving the club back in 2019.

The former West Ham youth product has taken to social media to interact with another former Hammers player in Declan Rice, in scenes that won’t sit well with fans.

Grady Diangana and Declan Rice celebrate Arsenal’s win over West Ham

Diangana made his first West Ham appearances back in the 2018-19 season, where he racked up 21 outings for the Hammers.

He was loaned out to West Brom in the 2019-20 season, where he impressed and made the move permanent the following campaign.

West Ham and their fans suffered a blow on Saturday when Arsenal opened the scoring through Rice. To make matters worse, Diangana has now added to the frustration by liking Rice’s celebratory post.

Despite the stinging actions, West Ham fans will be pleased to know that they didn’t miss out by letting Diangana go in the end.

West Ham made the right decision in letting Diangana go

David Sullivan has had criticism over the years, but one call he got right was letting Diangana go.

The winger looked promising for West Ham, and when he was later sold to West Brom, fans were upset that he wasn’t given the time to progress at the club.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham sold Diangana in a deal worth up to £18m, which now seems a brilliant piece of business by the club.

Diangana has failed to impress since leaving the club, as West Ham have since had European glory without him.

Now, full focus turns to Nuno in hopes he can have West Ham back up the table before an important January transfer window.
