ExWHUemployee: West Ham United reach loan agreement for Youssef En-Nesyri, move turned down
Youssef En-Nesyri turned down the chance to move to West Ham United despite both clubs reaching a loan agreement, according to ExWHUemployee.
The Moroccan international, who has scored twice in four Champions League games this season, was linked with a move to the London Stadium as David Moyes looks to bolster his attacking ranks in the January transfer window.
Both Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta have failed to hit the ground running since their marquee summer signings, resulting in Moyes’ side finding the back of the net just 15 times in 18 matches.

ExWHUemployee’s report stated that although Sevilla and the Hammers had agreed on terms and brokered a loan agreement, the player decided against the move to the Premier League club.
The report said: “The club had explored the option of Youssef En-Nesyri of Sevilla, however the player has decided to remain in Spain despite a loan deal being reached between both clubs.”

Settle on Scamacca
El-Nesyri clearly wasn’t interested in a move to West Ham United, and the club must now look to move on and pursue fresh targets. Considering the amount of money the Moroccan World Cup star would cost, the deal was never worth completing.
The Hammers must now work quickly now if they want to find a replacement, with numerous Premier League clubs in search of a number nine in the winter window. If the Hammers can’t find a suitable target in the coming week, they might need to call it quits and settle on the attacking options they currently have at the club.
The longer the transfer window goes on, the more clubs such as West Ham will be held to ransom. Players’ prices can sky-rocket out of control as clubs get desperate, and Moyes must be careful he doesn’t get embroiled in a transfer saga.
The likes of Scamacca will eventually come good for the Hammers, and it isn’t the end of the world if they don’t add further reinforcements to their attack this month.
