ExWHUemployee: Nayef Aguerd could cost West Ham up to £35m
West Ham could reportedly end up paying as much as £35million for Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd as they close in on his signature.
According to ExWHUemployee, the initial fee is believed to be £25million, with add-ons taking the price to one of the biggest sums the Hammers have ever paid for a new signing.
The 26-year-old is currently in London where he will undergo his medical before being officially announced as a new Irons player.

Ex wrote, “The fee is said to be around £25m to £28m initial payments with clauses that could take it to around £35m.”
Tad expensive
It looks like all these delays were a tactic for Rennes to drive up his price and get the best deal possible for him this summer.
They knew that the Hammers are desperate for a centre-back and have had Aguerd on their radar for a number of months.
After thorough scouting, the club decided to pursue the Morocco international’s services and are now on the cusp of sealing the deal.
There will be added pressure as it often happens with a high price tag but we’re backing Aguerd to be a success at the London Stadium.
He fits in perfectly into David Moyes’ system and will play as a left-sided defender with Kurt Zouma to his right.
Unless there are injuries or a significant dip in form, this is the centre-back pairing we’re expecting the Irons to deploy in the first few months of the new season.
In other West Ham news, ExWHUemployee claims that the Hammers are confident of beating Manchester City to sign an attacking sensation this summer.
