Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Filip Kostic open to joining West Ham
Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Filip Kostic reportedly likes West Ham amid transfer links.
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the 29-year-old Serbia international fancies the Hammers along with Lazio, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.
The same publication reported on January 11 that West Ham weren’t keen on signing him in January and will consider a summer swoop instead.

Tad old
In his heyday, Kostic would’ve been a good addition for the Hammers, but he is now past his prime.
At 29, he’s possibly got a year or at the most a couple of seasons before he’ll become redundant and need replacing anyway.
This season, he’s been in scintillating form in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals and providing seven assists in 16 starts.
He’s been a first-team regular for the German side who’s featured as a left wing-back as well as a left winger.

The Hammers aren’t in the need of a wide attacker just as yet and signing someone close to 30 as a replacement for Aaron Cresswell makes very little sense.
We don’t think that the club are likely to proceed with their reported summer interest and instead focus on signing a centre-back and striker.
Rob Newman must begin talking to the primary targets as the window is halfway finished and no new names have walked through the door.
In other West Ham news, the club want to sign a ‘World class’ central midfielder in January and the player is set to leave on one condition
